Egg retrieval and fertilisation

Hi all. I am 35.5 with low amh so I try to keep myself very realistic with possible numbers in regards to egg retrieval, fertilisation, etc. We had our egg retrieval yesterday and after seeing 7 follicles at my cd12 scan, they got 9 eggs! All were mature. Today we got the call that 5 have fertilised. So exciting! I know statistically 30 to 50% usually make it to day 5, so we're looking at getting 1 to 3 blastocysts if all goes well. Fingers STILL crossed. Best of luck to everyone else going through this journey. It's definitely not easy.

Update: 4 made it to day 3! And today at our fresh transfer, we found out 3 made it to blastocysts and the other one they reckon could possibly make it to blastocyst tomorrow, day 6. So that's 3 frozen and one freshly transferred today. We feel so lucky. Now for the 11 day wait till bhcg testing. I told myself I'm not testing early as I'm terrified of seeing a negative but I definitely feel lucky to have 2, maybe 3 more chances if this one doesn't work.
