- I feel like the rug is too small… if that’s a 5x7 get a 8x10 instead. 
-The rug is a good place to introduce some colour to the room. It’s wayyy too neutral at the moment
- you need end tables and lamps for sure 
- get rid of that weird giant clock and have either one very large colourful piece of art or a photo collection of family photos. 
- you could also have a nice credenza on that wall with some books and plants 🪴 That’s a huge wall space and it’s a shame not to do something with it.

I would choose some curtains that aren’t so similar to the couch colour, and I’d pick a bigger throw rug with some colour
Usually I’d pick a rug that has a colour from the throw pillows

I would add a bigger rug and some plants. It looks very clean, but also washed out because of all the white. I’d add some calming colors to give it a more inviting look. Here’s mine for ideas, it’s a little dirty and might not be your style but maybe it’ll give you some ideas.
