Possible ectopic?
I went into the ER around 4 AM this morning for really bad pelvic pains on one side and some spotting. Once they did the ultrasound they noticed cysts on both sides (that I never knew about) and no embryo in the gs sac so they were thinking that it could be an ectopic and wanted to give me meds to miscarry but then an OBYGN stepped in saying to wait another 72 hours to see if my HCG levels double as they should because it can possibly be too early to see my baby in the sac and it could just be the cysts that they’re seeing on my tubes and not the embryo since there’s no fetal heart beat near or on the tube (even if I’m not explaining it 100% medically correct it’s super close lol!) normally every month I have these same exact pains on the same side but I’ve always thought they were related to ovulation but clearly it could be from the cysts that I never knew I had & maybe it’s just too early to see the embryo. so I’m just waiting until Friday morning to see an OBGYN for more blood work and another ultrasound but of course if the pains start again then they want me to head back to the ER. I haven’t felt anything since this morning once they gave me an IV and 1,000 mg of Tylenol. I feel like they just followed protocol as an ER should once they heard pelvic pain/spotting/pregnancy but thankfully the OBYGN stepped in to stop them from giving me the meds to make me miscarry. Has anyone experienced this or something like it before?
