So I’m 20 years old, had my first period at 14 and Im STILL trying to figure out how my body works. I really understand period cycles but sex-Ed was taught to me when I was so young I was Squeamish the entire lesson that I didn’t listen. I was only in 7th grade.

I know that’s an appropriate time to talk about it cause we’re 13 and most of us hit puberty and may start exploring and need to k on the precautions. I feel like maybe there should’ve been a high school refresher because there is WAY more to pregnancy than just ejaculating into a vagina. Like I only learned what an implantation period was last week I never knew that was a thing.

Another topic is birth control. I was never talked to about this so I don’t know how each method works.

I wish my mom had more talks like this when I was younger rather than the religious version known as “don’t have sex before marriage and you’ll be fine”

Please tell me I’m not the only one who is still confused on stuff.
