I know it’s a long shot getting any responses but I’m really worried as this is really abnormal for me. I had my last period a week ago (eg. I’ve been off for a week now). During the time I had it I’d been under extreme stress from work and other anxiety causing events, I can probably say I was the most stressed I’ve been in my life. Because of this, my period was lighter than usual. It still lasted a full 6 days and obviously I was needing tampons/pads but just lighter than it usually is.

Fast forward to now, a week later - I noticed some spotting yesterday when I went to the toilet and assumed it was from a minor injury during sex or something, but no. This morning it appears I have started another fully fledged period- heavy, stringy, as it usually is. I am SO confused. Why am I having 2 periods a week apart? I can’t have ovulated and had another cycle in this time period? I know it’s not a miscarriage or anything because I exclusively have sex with condoms, I literally have no clue what this can be other than another period. I am so confused. If anyone has any insight please help a girl out here!
