In-laws flying in from out of state

Desiree

So I’ve been extremely protective during the pandemic and I’ve managed to protect my family from Covid so far. I have a two year old who has never met her paternal grandparents who live out of state. All of a sudden they decided on their own that it is now time to visit us and my husband is thrilled of course but I’m extremely nervous because they will be flying through international airports after the 4th of July when supposedly Covid numbers are set to increase again and I’m just scared at the possibilities of exposure that they are bringing to us. I feel powerless to protect my unvaccinated toddler and myself who will be 17 weeks pregnant when they arrive. Any opinions or tips on how to handle this would be appreciated as I’m getting no empathy from my husband over the anxiety this is causing me! I don’t even think he will allow me to set ground rules such as requiring them to be masked. TIA!
