I’ve gotten my first period since having my miscarriage. Being 3 days into it and I’m so ready to start tracking my ovulation again. So many people have said they got pregnant right after their first cycle after their miscarriage and others it took up to a year or more. My fingers are crossed we will have a newborn by next summer. Getting my period is bitter sweet because I wish I was still pregnant, I would be about 10.5 weeks. Another part of me is saying, it’s okay, because that means we’re just closer to trying again. And I’m trying to keep that positive mindset.

My mc started 3 days after my missed period and my doctor said if I wouldn’t have known I was pregnant, I would have thought it would have just been my period a few days late. So this time my period actually came on time and my cycle is right around the same time as my previous cycles before the miscarriage. My husband and I have been having a really hard time getting along this week and I think it’s because of all of the strong emotions flooding through my mind and the hormones from my period. I’m so nervous to try again thinking it would be another failed pregnancy. 🥺🫠
