How often do you have phone sex/video sex? Is it too much to do once a week? I feel like it keeps up close but I feel like he’s getting bored 😭

My boyfriend and I have been in a LDR for almost 4 months and so far we do it I would say once or twice per month. For us it’s really coming from good timing. We suggest to each other and if one of us don’t have the energy/time we respect it. It’s never planned. Personally, talking « dirty/romantically » is filling more my need of love than actually looking at my boyfriend doing it and vice-versa. So I also consider that sex on the phone is not mandatory to have a heathy LDR 😊

Honestly, my boyfriend & I have only done video sex once, in the very beginning of our relationship & we’ve been together almost 3 years. He would definitely do it again & I would if he really really wanted to, but I get hella shy with it, so we just don’t do it lol. I’ve never been a fan of video chatting in general & sometimes still feel awkward on camera, but I make it a point to at least do that a couple times a week with him. As far as sexting goes, we don’t do that very much anymore either lol, but out of the two of us, I’m the one who usually sexts more. So, overall, I guess u could say online/phone sex isn’t super important to us 🤷🏽‍♀️
