Does the implant cause weight gain?

Hi so my situation is a little unique.
I’m on birth control pills to stop ovarian cysts bc I had a huge one that ended up torsing my ovary and Fallopian tube so I’m down one on that part. 
I don’t want an IUD because I’m scared it’ll rip through my uterus and I want to preserve my lady parts until I have my children. What I have left. 
So I’m considering the implant but the thing is I’m scared of weight gain.
I’ve had a bunch due to the pill and antidepressants and I don’t wanna gain a bunch of weight again. 
What is anyones experience on the implant? I am seriously considering it now that Roe V Wade is overturned and birth control is next it seems like??? I really hope not…
But I don’t think I have many choices.

I've had the implant for 4-5 years. I haven't experienced any hormonal weight gain. I've gained probably 5-10 lbs in the past year but I think it's due to moving so my diet has changed, I have a job outside of retail so I'm not on my feet all day. Every person is different, but I've never experienced weight gain from the pill, nuva ring, or the implant.

In my experience it did, I had it for all of 3 years with periods lasting 2 weeks and off 2 weeks. My bmi went from normal to obese by the last year, the doctor didn't think my weight gain was from the implant and said its because I was a "hormonal teenager" and refused to take it out 🙄 I wasn't able to loose weight while on it but I lost it all once it was taken out so I'm pretty convinced it was the implant, or maybe a combination of both, I was young 😅 I was on the copper coil afterwards, twice between having kids and after my last I was pushed to go on the mirena because of heavy periods, so far I have no issues with this either. 
But I know everyone reacts differently to all sorts of bc, won't know till you try 😊
