Has anyone had their 2 year olds lip tie released? We never caught it as a newborn even though the signs were obvious when we look back. Now he’s 2 and has some decay on his top front teeth and it’s breaking my heart. But I’m also so nervous to have his tie released because he’s so much more aware! I’m afraid of traumatizing him.

The dentist we would have it performed by said he does lots of 2 year olds but I’m still so nervous.

Has anyone had their kids lip tie released at this age? How was their experience? I wish I had done it sooner 😓
