Hey! Ok so I’m a virgin and not having or planning on having sex anytime soon but i have horrible periods and possibly have PCOS. I’m going into my sr year of college and am about to go to law school so I’ve been looking for a more long term birth control especially with how laws are coming out in the states. But being that I’m not having sex i am nervous about the iud but it seems like the best looking option because I’m prob going to do a PhD after my JD

I have the kyleena IUD and PCOS and out of all the birth controls I've been on its whats worked best for me. I bled constantly on the nexplanon and was getting my period every second week for a week heavily on the mini pill but I don't have enough experience with any combined bc just because I have health issues which means I can't take them and I haven't tried depo.

I have PCOS also and my body reacted HORRIBLY to nexplanon and mirena. I mean, I went crazy both times. I’m not sure that it would happen to everyone, but I couldn’t handle the hormones!
