C section question
So I’m currently 37 weeks & 5 days. I’m scheduled for a c section on July 6 which will make me 39 weeks. But I’ve been having contractions since Saturday went to the hospital twice & got sent home both times because I’m only dilated a fingertip. My question is why would they wait until I’m dilating more if I’m not going to have my baby vaginal ? Why can’t they do the c section if I’m already contracting?
