My lo has been daytime potty trained for about 5-6 months now. She’s always chosen her “little” cocomelon potty over the big potty, but lately she’s developed this fear of using the big potty. She uses the big potty at daycare, but lately the daycare teacher has told me she gets so scared she starts shaking. 😢 her daycare teacher never forces her to go on the potty, she always does it by herself, but is still scared. They don’t have a little potty for her to use there. I spoke with her today about it and she confirmed her feelings that she’s scared of the potty. I just told her next time she goes, take a deep breath and say “I can do it” and told her to be a brave girl next time she goes. I definitely don’t want to force her to go on the big potty, but how can I get her to gain more confidence in herself?
