Hi all I’m a sahm for the last nearly 3 years to a wonderful little boy. He will be 3 in September) I am currently 15 weeks pregnant with our second baby. I found a work opportunity 4 days a week, 8 hours per day, basically my goal is to get maternity leave/ help out financially. We are in Canada and I can take up to 12-18 months mat leave so it is very helpful for our growing family. I feel grateful for this opportunity and our situation, and I recognize our privilege. At the same time, I really don’t want to be away from my little guy, we are so attached.. yet this is the best option for our family right now from a financial perspective. Please, any and all the advice about transitioning to working (when you don’t really want to) after being at home is welcome. Thanks in advance 🤕♥️
