6 month old side sleeping?

Hey ladies my 6 month old keeps rolling on his side to sleep at night. Ive rolled him back multiple times and he keeps rolling to his side immediately and its freaking me out. My issue is im scared hes going to roll on to his tummy because he really struggles rolling from tummy to back. He can do it but i dont think he can when hes sleeping. Is side sleeping safe at this age?

When they can roll themselves they're allowed to. The only thing I can think of that would be an issue is if they're still being swaddled.

Yes he will be fine just make sure theres nothing in the crib only his fitted sheet. Mine did this a lot too, its normal and will happen to all babies at some point. My babies all sleep on their stomach and then move to their side, sometimes they even sleep on their back if they are comfortable that way. They are 2 years old and my little one is 8 months
