BBT help!! Newbie to Temps and Adjustments?

Hi! So I'm new to BBT temping and not sure how to handle temps that are taken too early or too late!

I usually try to take my temp around 4am as I have a hard time sleeping past that point. I don't sleep the most solid either because of my 1 year old and how light of a sleeper I am. I'm always tossing and turning.

Anyways, for the most part I'm pretty accurate on my 4am temping but some days I'll end up waking up at 2am, 3am or over sleep til like 5/6am. I'll temp for caution at whatever time I wake up and then if I'm able to go back to sleep if I'm up early, I'll retemp @ 4am. If I over sleep or wake up shy of my normal time, like 345am instead of 4am, I'll adjust my temp using a bbt temp calculator.

Should I be doing that? Or is there a range where I shouldn't adjust my temps like if I temp any time between 330-430am leave the temp at what it was (no adjustment) or is it 15 mins give or take.

Is an adjustment calculator accurate or is there a formula for adjusting?
