Is this normal?

So long story short I ovulated cd 17-18 in may my lmp was may 5th. Placing me at 8 weeks today by lmp. First ultrasound yesterday showed I was 5 +3 only sac seen. Lining up with ovulation the dating seems correct. But is it normal not to see anything but the sac?!
I go back next week on Friday I should be 6 + 6. Praying to see baby and heartbeat! I’m just so nervous because this is our rainbow 🌈 as we lost our daughter rob 6/23/21 from her heart stopping at 37 + 3. She was born an angel.

If you’ve only been getting positive pregnancy tests for a week or two, I wouldn’t be concerned because it’s likely that you ovulated a couple weeks later than you thought. However, if you’ve been getting positives since your last period was due (4ish weeks ago), that’s super concerning as you should be measuring further along by now. In that case, I’d be cautiously optimistic. Good luck. Keep us updated 💕
