What to gift realtor after closing

We close July 7 and I’m wondering what gifts should o give my realtor. He’s been such a huge help in this entire process and I wanna give him a gift to show our appreciation. We just don’t know what’s acceptable or what he’d even enjoy. We thought maybe a gift basket of sorts but I’m blanking on what to put in it. He’s 26 the same age as us but I have no ideas lol. Please give suggestions if you don’t mind.

You don't traditionally give gifts to the realtor.  They are getting a commission from the seller.  The best thing you could give them is referrals and a really good review.

When we bought our house we kinda went a little extra for our realtor cause I'm pretty sure I was making him second guess his career 😂 I was SO picky about houses. But while visiting with each other my husband actually found out he was a whiskey drinker. So as a thanks we got him a whiskey glass/decanter set that was personalized with his last name. And a bottle of a decent not cheap whiskey lol and then a gift card to a local restaurant. I think if it was just a simple process and not so complicated like ours was I would probably just do a nice card with a gift card, maybe even include a fruit basket or cookies if you have a local delicious cookie shop.

I would start with a handwritten letter thanking him for his hard work and explaining how much it has meant to you :)

I didn’t get mine a gift, they made a ton of money off me. They were fantastic, so I “gifted” them an incredibly glowing review on yelp, google, and other review platforms. And I send business their way whenever I can.
