I have been using tampons for about a year (I’m 18), and I am a hypochondriac and have severe medical anxiety. Since I was young I have had strep throat many times (used to be chronic when I was younger) now I get it about once a year.

I’ve heard tss can be caused by staph or strep infections, is that the same as strep throat? Am I more at risk of tss because of my history having strep throat? No doctor has ever warned me about it so I’m just wondering.
