Hi ladies, so i was diagnosed with HSV-1 downstairs, due to my bf going down on me (even though he didnt have a cold core or hadnt had an outbreak in over a year) a little over a week or so ago, and i just ended my initial round of valtrex (twice a day for 7 days) and everything cleared up and is healing amazingly! Now im on the tail end of my period

But now ive run into the issue of having stomach issues the day after i was off the medication, and today i was up early this morning, sick with a stomach bug. Could this just be my body adjusting to HSV1 or being off the medication?

How long does it take for your body to adjust after your initial outbreak? Im tired of feeling not like my usual self.
