I am so frustrated with my pediatrician. She's always been great but I brought concerns up to her back in Feb about how often Jaxson gets sick and gets ear infections and she told me it's normal. Well, he's now had 4 ear infections in 4 months and strep twice now. Exactly a month ago he spiked a 103 fever and had strep and double ear infection and then yesterday at daycare it happened again. He's miserable and he's so terrified of the doctor at this point because they swab him every time. I asked for an ENT referral last time and they told me no. He is finally getting referred but they can't get him in until SEPTEMBER! I've missed so much work at this point and I got no sleep last night because he was in so much pain and sweating profusely and shivering from his fever.

I'm so mad she didn't listen to me so I could have gotten him in earlier. I even tried calling them myself to make an appointment and they said I had to get a referral. Obviously getting sick, and getting strep and double ear infections this much is NOT NORMAL! If he has to suffer through one more ear infection before he gets in I'll lose it.
