Retroflexed uterus?

Savannah • Mommy to miss Madelyn 🤍🌈🥜

Hey y’all! I went to an early private ultrasound yesterday at 6w4d, (abdominal) mainly for my peace of mind. Where I was there the first thing the tech told me was that I bc have a retroflexed uterus. I can hardly find anything online about this, everything assumes I mean retroverted! But they’re different, I’ll show a diagram at the end that I did find! I was wondering if anyone else had this during pregnancy? It was hard to see the baby, and while the tech saw the heartbeat I honestly couldn’t tell except once or twice I saw the flicker! But she tried to listen to it, and she couldn’t pick it up on the untrained because of where baby is positioned and his my uterus is tilted. I am going back in about a week for free to try to get a better view and maybe see the heart beat more clearly! Hopefully a week makes a big difference! Lol

Also, due to my peanut being hidden by everything, she measured where she was SURE baby was, which came to 6w1d. But, she told me there’s a little area that she wasn’t sure if it was also part of baby, but if she included that, it was 6w4d… hmm. Sure thinks I’m probably farther than 6w1d because of the white outlining around the gestational sac!

Anyways.. if you have evidence with this, I’d love to hear!! Also, does anyone know if a retroflexed uterus causes me to not be able to try the ramzi theory? 😬

Mine is retroflexed:

And here is my teeny tiny peanut! 💗🌈✨
