Would you have a c-section again?

If you had a C-section the first time, not due to high risk but because the baby was sunny side up would you have a c section again the second time if you’re not high risk? This is the situation I’m in now and I keep going back and forth between C-section and natural.

I don't have an answer, just solidarity. I am in the same situation (oh wait, except I'm not even pragnant with the next one yet). I've joined so many vbac groups and know people personally and I'm just not convinced by the success rate but I would so much prefer not to have another major surgery. Good luck!

I had what I call an unplanned non-emergency c section at 41+1 with my first (33 hours of labour, huge baby, failure to descend), and was hoping for VBAC with my second. My hospital did not want to induce me given my history of C-section, but they were very supportive of a TOLAC. (Trial of labour after c-section.) The deal was if I could go into labour on my own before a scheduled C-section at 40+6, they would support a VBAC. Unfortunately, I never went into labour, so scheduled c section is what happened. SO much better with a spinal than with the epidural. I’m headed in for my third c section in 2 weeks. This go around they didn’t even entertain conversation about VBA2C. I am located in Ontario, Canada.

Had a schedule C-section with my first bc my son was breech (butt first and feet at his head) and opted for another scheduled C-section 5 years later with my 2nd, also planned to have my tubes tied and that helped my decision.

I did have an emergency c section but the rest of my kids will be c sections also. I personally hated labor and don’t wish to do it ever again

Had a emergency csection. No, I don't want that surgery again if possible. Baby due in a month and right now nothing indicates for the need of a csection.
