Newborns bellybutton is bleeding!?

His cord fell off about 4 days ago and his belly button was fine until till i changed him this morning. Is this normal? Could it be friction from his clothes or maybe the diaper rubbed on it? Its moslty dried up but theres a tiny bit of blood

A tiny bit of blood is normal. That nub is pretty much a huge scab so it can get irritated by clothing just the same. Keep the area clean. If it starts to leak clear or yellow pus like fluid then it should be seen by a doctor

My grandma said you can dab with a bit of alcohol to help fry it up but make sure the baby has pants and diaper on so it won’t get near genitals
