Kyleena iud and long periods

Hey ladies, so I got my kyleena iud in April last year, and it’s been pretty good aside from some cramping at the beginning. One thing I have noticed though is that I bleed for a lot longer than I did before it. Beforehand I used to have 5 day periods with bleeding for the first 3-4, and spotting for a couple of days after. But with my iud I’m bleeding (not as heavily) for about 7 days, then spotting/ having brown discharge for like 10 days after this, sometimes more. Has anyone had any similar experiences?
