We've been putting my 16 month old on the potty for poops for a few months now (as soon as we see her strain we put her on it). She's actually just started taking movicol from the doctors as she was chronically constipated and meant lots of struggle for her to go. So her stools are actually back to normal for her age now meaning don't have to strain so much.

She has just came up to me and said poo and I asked her do you need a poo and she went and grabbed her potty from across the room and put it in front of me! So I sat her on it and she did a poo and got up and said "done. Dirty"

Does this mean She's ready for potty training to start properly? And how do I go about getting her to wee on the potty too?
