False labor?

Heartburns and contractions- is it labor? 
Im a second time mom but i cant remember what true labor felt like since the first baby was born 11 years ago! Lol. I cant sleep, and having contractions. 34 weeks and 3 days now and worried about baby being coming out too early. Help!

Are they consistent lengths and times apart. Count during and between if it isnt too painful. From my recollection the true labor contractions were hard to count because they hurt. But they supposedly give you pause in both speech and movement and are very regular to be considered true contractions. And generally anything you do wont make them go away (sit down, lie down, stand up, drink water, etc..)
