Painful sex

I’m 20 and sex is very painful 98% of the time even with position change. I’ve been with the same partner for 5 years and the pain has been ongoing for a few years now but seems to be getting worse. The pain is in my lower abdomen not my vagina. I’ve brought it up to my GYNO but she pretty much threw it to the side. Any tips on what the issue could be or what I should do? Thanks in advance!
