Can hot weather cause your BBT to rise significantly?

It seems like a daft question that I probably already know the answer to 🤦🏻‍♀️. So the UK is experiencing a heatwave. My temp today is 0.2C higher than yesterday. I’m either 9/10/11dpo (none of the apps I use say the same date 🤷🏻‍♀️). So my question is, can hot weather cause your BBT to rise?

Answer

No. I love in the UK and I TTC and I measure my BBT and it is staying low in my follicular phase. The human body of adult has the capability to maintain homeostasis and regulated both BBT and normal temperature by sweating. Newborns and babies can be affected by temperatures and very elderly but healthy middle age individuals are not. My BBT was 36.07 on the hottest day of the entire summer we had other day.
