Can you see heartbeat at 6 weeks??

I have my first ultrasound next Thursday and I will be 6 weeks. I worry this isn’t far enough along to get a good heartbeat or a clear picture of how baby is doing. Has anyone had an ultrasound this early and able to hear heartbeat and see the baby?

Yes but I went in for my six week apt and we couldn’t even see the baby. They scared me but when I went back a week later we saw the baby and hear beat. I was actually 5 weeks at the first apt so just be aware that can happen

Yes you can see baby heartbeat at 6 weeks. It's best to just see the sound waves versus hearing them as it is VERY loud for baby. So if your provider is up to date on this health information, you won't get to hear it.
