Then how much should I save and put down as a deposit ? I think I have to put the first months rent and the last month‘s rent right and thats it ?

Usually your deposit is as much as rent . Some require first months rent, last months rent, and deposit . Depending on your credit and renters history. 
Most of them just require first months rent and security deposit .

That’s gonna my to be different depending on the landlord and isn’t something you’ll get to decide. Around here first and last months rent and a security deposit (usually equivalent to a months rent) is pretty standard. But that doesn’t mean that’s what your landlord will want. You’ll just have to ask them. It will also likely be different if you have pets as a lot of landlords ask for a separate pet deposit as well.

You should have at least 3 months rent on hand, plus a little extra for expenses. The deposit varies depending on where you’re renting. Some places want first & last, some want 1 month rent, some just want 500. 
One place wanted 2 months rent, then we had to pay for the current month. Our current place wanted $500, $400 pet deposit & pay the current month
