Baby fighting sleep ?

Is it even possible for a 1 month old to fight sleep? I feel like I can tell when he’s tired but also I’m scared it’s something else even tho it’s the most logical answer….. like I know he’s been up for 40mins-1hr, I know he’s fed,changed, burped exc. but what if he’s hungry again? Just now I fed him 3 times for a total of 47 mins and for the past 30 I’ve been trying to get him to settle and sleep. Sometimes after I’ve fed him and he’s fussing I’ll try to put him at the boob cuz maybe he wants to cluster feed but he doesn’t want to eat anymore. Idk I just feel bad cuz my first never cried like this. I tried to see if I could just lay him down and he cried for like 3-5 mins then fell asleep. I went to double check his diaper cuz I’m so paranoid it wasn’t sleep that he wanted he woke up cried some more I put him on my chest now he’s sleeping. I’m now scared that he cried too much and he’s hungry or uncomfortable still even tho he’s sound asleep…. I feel bad for even letting him settle himself but he didn’t wanna be in my arms in any position. Like what if he’s just settled for sleeping now even tho he wanted something else…😔
