My body hair + hubby

I just wanna vent.

Going into town with my hubby and its over 100 degrees out. I just started wearing shorts (been too self conscious to). Was thinking about wearing them but my legs are hairy. Hubby said he'd rather me shave my legs or put on pants. I was fucking baffled!!! How dare he.

I asked him if he checked out random women's legs in town to see if they were shaved or not. He said no of course not. Ok.... then wtf makes you think people are gonna look at me. And even if they did, WHO CARES!!!!

Then I told my daughter (jokingly, she's fucking 5 months old)... that she's probably gonna be hairy cuz mom and dada are and its her body, her choice. He said no, she's gonna be hairy, she's gonna shave. 👀👀👀

This brings me back to my childhood. I hated that i was hairy. I got made fun of constantly by people my age and my family. I don't ever want her to deal with that so she will know that she's beautiful no matter what and can either shave or not. Who cares!! I've barely started to accept my body, body hair and all, in my late 20s.

This is all just breaking my heart.
