What does it mean to be “tight”?

I feel embarrassed to ask but I’m so sheltered when it comes to sex & body stuff. What does it mean to be “tight”? Is it a good thing? How can you tell?

Actually, contrary to what you’ve already been miss told your vagina stretches when you have sex and shrinks again abit like an elastic band. It’s the same when you’ve had children, your vagina doesn’t lose its “tightness” and becomes “loose”.

Best way to explain it is "tight" is like taking your hand and clenching into a fist while being "loose" is like relaxing your grip a bit. 
Every woman is different and every vagina is different shaped and some feel more tight while others may feel more relaxed.
It really depends on the guy too. If he is larger, it will feel tighter while if he is smaller, it may feel looser.
Most women tend to start out tight and loosen up as you get into sex as well, it can hurt to be too tight from lack of stimulation or not being into the sex.
Some women like to do pelvic floor work outs "kegels" to help strengthen their uterus.
Don't put much thought into it though, as long as you find a partner you enjoy being intimate with, that's all that matters.
I've had guys tell me I'm tight and others say I'm loose so 🤷🏼‍♀️
