Need help with understanding the doctor
Just an update I got my results back after having 2 consecutive miscarriages. and they were all clear. However I don’t know why the insulin one didn’t come back even though it was a week ago. Anyway. He said I most likely have mild pcos. He said something like I have 42 follicles. Or 42 eggs I dono what he said but he said it was very high. I wish I remembered what was 42 it was something like follicle because he said someone ages 28 has 7-47 and I have 42 which is a high number. He said you may have pcos and is starting me on metformin and baby aspirin. He said he will give me progesterone once I get pregnant and also said if I wanted to start clomid when I was ready to start trying again. As this is the first period after miscarriage I wanted to wait until another period. I’m a bit confused about the whole thing. Can metformin cause harm if pcos is not 100% confirmed. I have had bad acne over the past years and hair growth on chin. He wants to do an ultrasound as well in 2 weeks but I’m just so tired. Why do I need clomid if I’m getting pregnant but having hard time keeping the pregnancy beyond 7 weeks. Please help
