Ultrasound didn’t go so well- help?

Glow shows 6w6d, due March 8, but on nurture when I put in my average cycle length it gave me March 12. So I’m either 6w6d, or 6w2d.

My ultrasound tech wasn’t great throughout and then she was about to finish up and I asked if I was going to see anything and she said “oh yeah I forgot about that” and then showed me. She said there’s the gestational sac, and the baby is there, and pointed to what I think is the yolk sac? She said there’s not too much to see so early in the pregnancy and then she finished up.

At 6 weeks I should have been able to see a heartbeat, no?

I’ve had a miscarriage before, and a healthy baby as well. For my miscarriage, they immediately had the dr come in and tell me. For my son, I had an ultrasound at 5w and a few days and they saw the yolk sac, and one at 8w3d where I heard his heartbeat.

I’m just confused why if there was no heartbeat that they didn’t tell me then? Or if this is normal and I’m a few days later?🤷🏼‍♀️

What should I expect now? A follow up ultrasound?

I was stressed before, but now I’m losing it.
