Is it too late to enroll my 5yo in kindergarten? 😥😥😥 I live in Florida!

For context: I just had a baby and the plan was to homeschool but I realized I can’t do it! Now I’m scared there is no going back.
Is it possible to just enroll him next year?

It depends on your state but in most states kindergarten is not mandatory. That being said, if you wait another year, your child will always be one year older than their peers. It’s not too late to enroll, public school is required to take any children in their district. People move often and late enrollees are common.

Nope. I know someone who did it basically a week before school started. Just make sure they have a physical from this year and dental visit. Also make sure you have all paper work.

You can just enroll your child late. Public schools have to accommodate children within their district, and people move all the time. They take children at any point during the school year.
