Symptoms at 1 DPO?

Has anyone experienced any symptoms at 1 DPO? I have had aching/cramps on my left side all day and am wondering if that is normal. I know it’s not pregnancy related because it’s too early, just wondering if it’s normal

That’s just due to ovulation. Nothing has occurred at 1 dpo. If you have conceived, implantation (on average) normally occurs at 9 dpo, as early as 7 dpo, or as late as 12 dpo (so anywhere in-between). And if implantation does take place, it takes another 2-3 days for the HCG to rise, and for any symptoms, if any, to show after.

You cannot have symptoms that are actually related to pregnancy at 1 dpo because at 1 dpo you are not pregnant yet. Implantation doesn’t happen until 6-12 dpo and it takes a few days after that for enough HCG to build in your system to trigger a positive test let alone any symptoms. But progesterone rises after ovulation and can also cause most of the things we think of a pregnancy symptoms. Some months it can hit you a lot harder than others.
