Baby Carrier Recommendations

Question

Im a FTM and looking for recommendations for good/your favorite baby carriers. I’m having twins so I’m going to need to buy two so affordability (around or under $100 each) is really important to me but so is durability, longevity, and something that’s easy to use.

(For clarification I’m asking about wearable baby carriers not car seats)

Loved my ktan wrap when he was tiny, and have been really happy with lillebaby carriers as he has gotten bigger. At 3yo and 40lbs, we are still using the lillebaby seat me.

They make baby carriers just for twins! I think one brand is called TwinGo. They’ll probably fit together better than using two carriers. Downside of the TwinGo one is you cant use it until four months but when babies are small you could easily use two ring slings! We still use a ring sling now for our 21 month old so I know you can get plenty of use out of them :)

This is our favorite. But check kids consignment stores and sales first! I got mine from a thrift store for $5

I like this one, but it is a little more expensive than your price range. Worth it in my opinion though. ￼Lillebaby is another excellent choice. I had a baby K’tan, but it’s not great particularly if you have any sort of back issues. The material stretches out and it becomes less supportive overtime. It is great for a newborn though. If you are on a budget, Infantino has really affordable carriers that are decent.

I love how my Moby holds my little one snuggly to my body. She finds it so soothing and I love having her close but the freedom of having my hands free to love on her or even fold some laundry 😉

Though I prefer the Moby wrap my husband does not. He prefers the Baby Bjorn carrier. He brings our daughter for a walk in it every day before bedtime and sometimes even wears her around the house. Our daughter loves being close to her daddy and generally falls asleep in it.
