Whenever you and your partner want! We waited until 20ish weeks to announce publicly even though my MIL was begging us to announce since I turned 8 weeks. We weren’t comfortable with that so we waited until closer to viability.

We always wait until 13 weeks, I’ve had two miscarriages and plenty of complications, granted you can still miscarry after the standard 12 weeks but personally we do it at 13 weeks because I couldn’t handle the fact of people knowing and then losing the baby, I can’t handle that with added stress of people contacting me to say sorry. It’s all up to you and what you and your partner are comfortable with!

Whenever you and your partner are ready!!!  With my twins, we announced super early at 6 weeks when we first saw their heartbeats.  With our daughter, we waited until around 10 weeks or so (only announced because it was close to thanksgiving and everyone would be seeing that I was very obviously pregnant).  Our twins were only 18 months old, and I didn’t want anybody’s judgment about being pregnant again so soon.  Current baby, we announced the day before my birthday at 7w2d the day we got our first ultrasound and knew the baby had a strong heartbeat.  I was bursting with excitement and we told our 3 kids that evening so we also shared on social media with the rest of our family and friends we hadn’t told. 
Lots of people wait until over 12 weeks.  I’m wayyy too impatient for that.  It all depends on your preference and what you’re comfortable with!  Congratulations! 🎊❤️

The standard is 12 weeks when your chance of miscarriage drops significantly, but you can announce any time. We announced at 9 weeks with my first two as the opportunity presented itself for a fun announcement (great grandfather’s birthday and Christmas). We announced at 11 weeks with this one, again because we had an opportunity to surprise people at a family gathering. It’s up to you, whatever you are comfortable with.
