How do you know what size too get? Does it get bigger and should I wait too buy it? Until my first time feeding

They aren’t the best to use at all. 
They aren’t meant to be a very temporary device to help babe learn how to latch.

Nipple shields should only be used temporarily if absolutely needed. It can hinder propper milk transfer.

Also side note - they are a pain in the butt, however it was the only way I could get my daughter to latch and we successfully breastfed until she was 8 months. I only had to stop because my supply dropped when I returned to work. I used them the entire time. Got used to them. Baby ate well and supply was fine.

you should wait but honestly i never used nipple shields it was way too much work
