Bleeding after the implant

On the 3rd of June I had an abortion; I was 7 weeks along. My decision was to do the misoprostol method so I could do it on my own terms. The cramps and bleeding were pretty intense but, that’s not what I’m here to talk about. When I returned for my check up on June 22nd I got the implant. Beforehand my periods were always irregular; though always heavy. Sometimes I’d miss a month, and occasionally they’d be 5-8 days long. I started my first period on nexplannon on July 12th. It was a long period ending July 21st. Considering how long it had been since my last one I wasn’t really concerned besides the fact that I was hoping I wouldn’t get my period anymore haha. Monday morning the 25th of July I noticed I was bleeding again. Fuck. Haha. Nothing extensive just a light pink discharge. I’m free bleeding no pads or tampons. I know that irregular bleeding is normal after getting the implant, and I could go on the pill to regulate my period. Though I would like to avoid all the extra hormones. What are my options?
