Bister or coldsore on babys lip?

My one month old has this yellow bump on his lip, i noticed it this morning. Is this a blister or coldsore? Neither my husband and i get cold sores so im very confused.

Kinda looks like a cold sore, but also hard to tell. I would make an appointment with his ped & find out for sure, has anyone been kissing him on the face?

Could be a sucking blister or cold sore herpes can cause viral infection without a outbreak through skin shedding also even if you test negative unless they test you actively during a outbreak which some never get it’s almost impossible to actually know. But I would assume it’s not Hsv unless baby is having a fever acting sick etc if they do start acting sick get them to the hospital immediately.

This looks like rashes. Either can be due to the products used or due to the reaction of breast milk/formula. Try cleaning baby's mouth area with wet cloth after feed. My baby got all over her face. Doctor changed her massage oil and body lotion to cetaphil Restoraderm. She had rash due to oil not suiting her.
