Please help me! Is this normal ?

Please I’m lost and really starting to convince myself this is just a rough patch and it’s normal to have disagreements.

My bf has been acting super aggressive and just angry lately. I can sense his anger through texts but in person it’s kinda scary.

We both work sales so we don’t see eachother often. We work in car dealerships so as most of you guys know, we are there 24/7. It’s different dealerships though. We have this “tradition” where every month we go on weekend getaways with our commission money. One month I treat him and the next he treats me. There is a hotel by the beach we normally book for our getaways. The front desk knows us by now. It’s awesome because they have early check in available (1pm).

So he goes to the front desk and they tell him he has to wait 40 min to check in. He comes back to the car infuriated. He’s literally clenching his teeth. He tells me this is a waste of time blah blah. It’s the first time they don’t allow early check in. He starts screaming at me uncontrollably.

I tell him we can go get food meanwhile or go to the store or walk around the beach. He says no!!!!! We finally go to a local target to browse. Hes still angry and screaming at me. I start crying!!! I’m literally shaking.

1 hour goes by…..and I tell him that I really want to end the relationship. Then he goes off “why are you with me then? Do you even love me?” I felt guilty. He says that this is normal to have arguments. But he’s literally yelling at me for something out of my control. It’s not my fault the front desk made us wait. He screams more and more. The night before I went to a family party and he even brings this up saying “next time don’t go to your piece of shit family parties and let me know that you had Saturday off and we could have had 2 nights together instead of 1” finally he kisses me and gets me flowers from target and tells me he loves me and apologizes

But his tantrum lasted for 1 hour of just screams. I felt so awkward. He finally goes inside and the front desk says that early check in is available based on first come first serve. The cleaning staff was not done cleaning the rooms yet so that’s why we had to wait.

All this for nothing. He never even said sorry again:/
