Round ligament pain?

Wondering if anyone has ever had round ligament pain in the upper stomach? I know usually it’s near hips and groin but last night while sleeping I got stabbing pains in my upper abdomen lasting for a few seconds at a time, lasting about 30 minutes overall. As of this morning, it’s completely gone. 20 weeks, 2nd baby. Wondering if I should call the OB or just chalk it up to round ligament pain. Don’t want to be dramatic 🤷🏼‍♀️

Yep I get it too sometimes (22+1) & pretty sure it’s just stretching making room for growing baby x

Yes I had pain literally for like 4 days straight to the point of being nauseous. I went to Dr and they said it was ligament pain. Has since gone away

Get a belly band if you haven't already

When I sit in one position too long I get awful pain around my left rib. It goes away if I get up and walk around a little bit. I’ve had this pain since first trimester.

So if I’m not mistaken, abdominal muscles connect to the ribcage or something in that area. I think the pain I feel in my upper stomach is cramps or just pulling to hard on the muscles. Cause instead of the muscles going straight down, they are more on the side allowing the baby to grow.

I have this pain sometimes too but it’s not a bad thing don’t panic
