Antibiotics while exclusively pumping
I was prescribed cephalexin for a uti and I am torn on whether to give my twins my milk. I exclusively pump and only make about half of what they eat so they get formula the other half. Should I pump and dump? I don’t want them to have allergic reaction to the antibiotics or not have antibiotics be as effective for them one day because of this. Also I really don’t want to destroy their little gut health. If you have been prescribed antibiotics did you give your baby milk and have any negative side effects?
