Do you hold your baby all the time or?

I'm a stm mom of girls (8 and 4 months). BOTH didnt really liked to be put down. I wear or hold my baby girl Esmé most of the day 🤣😭
I love it but omg my back!!!
Any suggestions on a baby swing or something baby can grow into?
Or should I just suck it up? It goes so fast

Expecting in 13 days and I plan to hold her as much as she’ll let me. She’s our 5th and final I want to soak in every second I can.

Putting baby on floor or even getting an exersaucer once baby is big enough. I hold baby whenever I can, but I have 3 others (4 kids total) so holding her 24/7 isn’t an option. She doesn’t care much for being worn.

THIS!!! it sits on your hip or in front of you and creates a seat for your baby, so you don’t have to carry baby’s weight, LIFESAVER!!!  other than that, i have lots of different seats, swings, walkers, & bouncers that i put him in in whatever room i’m in so i can talk and play with him while i’m cleaning or cooking or whatever

My first boy was very independent from the get go but my March baby is not 😂. He loves to be held and if his dad is home and in the same room he needs his dad to have direct eye contact and he’ll just smile, if not he’ll whine until he gets it lol. He tolerates the swing, bouncer, and play-mat but for short periods of time. So I do what I need to do within those 10-15 minute increments and hold him in between.

I can’t I have 3 kids under 3 and the newest addition it’s just not possible for me to hold him all day. Plus I work from home the best things for me has the poppy pillow so he can lay down either in a playpen or mini crib and play with his activity mat, a tummy time pillow, and now him being 4-5 months his favorite is the jumper. I am too busy and I cannot spoil him that way i think it would be best to get her to be more independent and you not always be attached at the hip

My baby is the exact opposite🙈 he doesn’t like being held only in short bursts and he hates being held if he’s tiered! He is very happy to sit in his swing or lay on his play mat. My mom always says he must just like his own company x
