Baby not liking slow-flow nipple?
We started to introduce 1 bottle per day to my (almost) 1 month old. I've gotten better at catching let-down in the haakaa plus the pumping, so the bottles vary between breastmilk and formula (depends on how well I did any given day, as I'm also trying to get a 2 or 3 day stash for when daycare starts - 14 ounces since the 18th of july!)
Anyway, when I use the slow-flow nipple, he just whines and refuses to suck, even if I encourage the milk by "massaging" the nipple, but if I move to a medium flow he seems happy, but pace feeding is more difficult (since it's a faster flow). Mind, he's only had the bottle a total of 3 times.
Should I just force him to accept the slower flow nipple even if that feed ends up taking an hour, or should I stick with the medium?
EDIT: I found a nipple he likes, even in slow-flow! I only have 1 bottle it fits, but since we only supplement the 1 a day it's fine!
