Why did i do this????

Im going through a divorce with my soon to be ex husband. We have been seperated for a year and have a three year old daughter together. Well lastnight we had sex… im not sure how to feel about it, except for the fact that it was really intense… is this a phase? Im not sure where to go from here…

Well you're getting a divorce for a reason. What's that reason? Was it mutually agreed on? 
It was probably good because you miss each other on some level. There's a sense of breaking the rules and it makes it more intense. 
I'd think about why it is you two are divorcing and talk with him about your feelings so you are both on the same page.

While I dont think it was a wise thing to do, I dont think it's uncommon. You have a history with this person, and obviously were attracted to him enough to marry him and make a child with him. I had to cut off all my exs cold turkey because you can know someone needs to be out of your life while still liking certain things about them and being attracted. But with a child involved, obviously the cold turkey thing isnt feasible. So if the divorce is still going to happen, you may need to set stricter boundaries eg exchange your child outside only.

I think this is normal from what ive read. Some couples continue sleeping together through the divorce process and even after. Not sure what that means , missing each other or what. Just dont let it cloud you, you are getting divorced for a reason.
