2cm and almost 90% effaced at 34+6

I know, I know. I’ve heard everyone and their cousin say they had a similar situation & still made it to their due date, or went weeks like that. BUT, with my first baby, I was 80% and a fingertip at 36 weeks and had him 5 days later. My midwife doesn’t seem to think I’ll be pregnant much longer. She’s keeping her fingers crossed that I’ll make it just one more week, but isn’t holding her breath based on how my cervix feels. Baby is also at 0 station so I’ve been in serious discomfort lately 🥲 All I do is sit at a desk all day at work and lay down while I’m at home, so I haven’t done anything to encourage my body to progress early. I’m going to try to remember to update when I actually have the baby just so anybody else in my situation will be able to know what the outcome was. My September 7th baby may very well end up being an August baby!
